Over the past several weeks, our custom-built drone encountered significant operational and structural challenges. Despite our team’s efforts, the extent of the damage exceeds our current repair capabilities within the remaining timeframe. As a result, we have made the decision to withdraw from this year’s Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) competition.
While this marks the conclusion of our run for the season, our work does not stop here. Our focus will immediately pivot toward analyzing our performance, refining our engineering designs, and addressing technical limitations to build a more performant and functional drone for the future.
